missing tooth :(

yea thats obviously not my mouth.
but im not looking much better when i smile widely.
i just pulled a baby tooth thats in the position such that when i smile with my teeth showing, there's an obvious gap :(
how sad right... :(
n i realised i've this tendency to smile widely when i talk.
almost regardless of what im talking.
so.... im contemplating wearing a surgical mask.
HAHAHA
until i put on my braces.
the dentist says the gap's supposed to be less obvious then.
I HOPE ITS TRUE!

ok im off to eat mushy fooodd....
(2nd most painful thing of wearing braces)

either march or July then I was scared they'd schedule my exam right on my birthday in July. hah!

wish me luck people. I dont kno if I can cope :X

I dont know why,
I've been seeing & hearing alot about spousal abuse these days.

from friends, on the radio, on posters at busstops..

and today the moment I signed in to MSN,
I saw this on my Windows Live Today.

I get really angry whenever I hear about guys abusing their other half.
Even angrier when the girls just submit to the abuse and suffer in silence.
They go sobbing to their girlies and wail bout how they cant bring themselves to do anything cos they love the guy too much.

that WUSE apologises and everything's sweet and happy once again.

And no. im not just talking about physical abuse. Verbal abuse can be just as damaging. If not worse since it affects the mind. LEAVE THE GUY. PROTECT URSELF. before he reduces you to a nutcase.

If you find it really impossible to let go of all the happy memories, then keep it.
BUT dont make the happy past a reason for you to stay and get abused.

haha i try hard to keep my promises!
Just that IP + essays + portfolios + other stuff have been keeping me toooo busy to blog! REALLY! Im not giving excuses.
Well many things have happened between now n since i last blogged. But nah shant harp on bout how all those things robbed me of a proper Christmas, new year n life for the past few months.
Only those close enough'll kno (: (:

ohh but i just wanna say this

all u airheads out there who think poly life's easy, pluck off all ur eyelashes and shave ur eyebrows now. We poly people've got our our own share of stress and work too alright. Tsk. So stop being irritating.

On a happier note, this year's CHEENA NEW YEAR'S one of the best so far! Haha! Cos i feel my ang bao's money's put to very good use! Instead of going into the bank n waiting to be spent on shopping sprees/day outs, they're going into my BRACES FUND! Haha! Yeap. Im serious bout getting braces. Hopefully by this coming June (: so anyone out there who wanna be a friend, feel free to donate generously! ^-^ LOL.

Anw, now that overly stressful + crazy + insane + mental-illness-drivable + may-ur-pimples-pop like crazy week is overrr, Im a lil less stressed :D tho there's still work to be done. But meanwhile, im working on a lil something that i don't feel is safe to reveal here on the www hehe. altho i know only a few handful visit this site. (yea its a few handful. A handful's too little.)

i just gave myself a manicure!
n i think its pretty pretty! haha!
but as i was trying to plug my adaptor to charge my laptop i had to do it without fingers.
i think i took like 5min just to do that.
im so grateful for fingers!! haha.

oh yea relax im not here to talk bout fingers LOL

im talking a break. part 2 from CRAZY SCHOOL WORK.
(break part 1 was manicure XD)
n i thot maybe i should think start thinking bout my new year's resolutions.
so here they are (as they come to mind)

#1 Learn to cook 2 simple dishes!
i shall start with rice
i think its pretty important.. so i should really start soon. haha

#2 Lead a healthier lifestyle
i havnt really exercised since... the last PE lesson in sec4.
n thats about..... 1.5 years ago OMG.
i promise i'll go swimming soon.
oh healthy lifestyle would also include eating more fruits.

#3 Be a nicer friend
I think i havnt really been a nice friend..
i've been receiving alot but not really giving...
i should, i kno.

#4 Get a job during holidays, earn enough to make braces!
(altho i kno daddy'll offer to pay for me once i get it. i'll just be a useful daughter n pay .. 1/4? LOL.)
haha ya! i really want braces!
i keep thinking my teeth're growing out of their assigned gum space more and more everyday!
n its quite sad.
i HAVE to get them corrected!

#5 hmm.. let it be.. to update my blog more!! haha!

wooo n 2008's gone.
so fast..
dosnt even feel like one year has passed haha..

2008 has been one year packed with changes
new school
new friends & classmates
very new education system
very new style of work
new teachers

and since our lives revolves around school so much,
i guess these changes affected my lifestyle n character quite abit.

scary to a certain extent
i wasnt very hopeful of how i'd turn out given the stuff i was exposed to
despite the unrealistic optimist i am
i was exposed to so many new things i dint really know how to cope,
dint really know how to react
but im soo glad
n i thank GOD so much
for all the amazing people who helped me get thru all these
n i guess everything turned out fine or even better than expected

2008 has been one tough year
no doubt.
juggling between work,
piano
church
and.. well.. living. haha.
altho looking back i feel i havnt done my best for everything i did.
hehee.. im always like that x)

2008 has been one learning year
i think i've learnt quite alot thru all the things i've been thru this year
i think i've seen a lil more outside my lil tiny yet happy lalaland

2008 has been one special year
.. like all my other years haha x)
im so grateful for all who have stood by me
adviced or just listened to me
thru this year of changes

i think thats what i've been suffering from recently.
its the hols and im supposed to be sleeping early
so hopefully all my horrible pimples'll heal
but.. but...
i just cant seem to fall asleep before 3am every night =(

so my nights have been spent

heh heh..

n then a motorcyclist starts his engine.
i think recently there's this trend to
start ur vehicle's engine as loud as possible or something
n im veryveryvery irritated with it.
sometimes they start it soo loud it wakes me up from my sleep
n im living on the 12th storey!!
its a recent thing huh.
i dont remember all these happening last year.

a job that dosnt require me to work 5days a week..
or at least not 5days a week for the whole 2months of holidays
the pay must be good.
at least $7 per hour..
no office job..

working hours not more than 7hrs perday,
i must get to meet people
n i want a uniform...
i miss wearing uniforms...

finally. after many many many projects
altho there's still alot of work to be done during the hols
im enjoying the freedom
to decide which days I wanna work
n which days I wanna catch up with important people

so 3June
was SENTOSA with 1B01

but before that..

after the water talk,
most of my time was spent with these girls
& Lens Tim n weijie aka DAVE (haha!) x)
cos the rest were tanning n i already got burnt in the water

we spent 45min deciding whether to go for the 4D thingy
n decided not to in the end lol.
so it was dinner n talking at Delifrance
n tram rides
hehe..
